Satcom1, the satellite communications and connectivity solutions provider specialising in VVIP, head-of-state, military and business jets, has appointed Jackie Nikolajsen as its new Chief Operating Officer.
Mr. Nikolajsen brings 20 years of technical, operational and senior management experience from the business aviation industry.
Prior to this appointment, Nikolajsen held several positions at ExecuJet Europe as Head of Completion and Acceptance, Maintenance Manager, and Technical Director; as General Manager at Rizon Jet and most recently as a Senior Manager – Quality and Safety, Special Projects, FBO and Facilities at Qatar Executive.
He will take on the responsibility of Satcom1’s operations management with a special focus on execution of lean processes between Satcom1’s headquarters in Denmark and Satcom1’s R&D, Consultancy and Technical Support facility in France with immediate effect .
Nikolajsen will also drive strategic operations planning and prioritise resources and projects in order to meet and deliver to customer requirements and expectations.
Nikolajsen said: “I know Satcom1 through many years where we have developed numerous sophisticated SATCOM and connectivity solutions for the end users whom I’ve represented. I am excited to jump over the fence and become part of Satcom1, which, in my opinion, has always been in the technological and innovative forefront to serve the most demanding VVIP customers.

Jackie Nikolajsen will report directly to Chief Executive Officer Henrik Zinck and will be located in Satcom1’s new headquarters in Vallensbæk, Denmark.
