Gogo logoThe latest inflight connectivity research from Gogo shows nearly nine out of 10 passengers feel that an airline improves the passenger experience by offering high-quality inflight internet connectivity.

The Global Traveller Research Series is an annual research study commissioned by Gogo. It looks at the changing behaviours and attitudes of airline passengers across the world.

It claims that as the world becomes more connected, expectations for connectivity have overtaken just about everything else.

It found that three in ten travellers look for inflight internet access when booking their flight. This has increased substantially from 2017 when it was the ninth most important factor.

But what do they do with it? The Gogo research found that they use inflight internet for web browsing, checking email, and using social media.

They also watch their favourite shows and enjoy real-time, up-to-the minute access to sports and news through live TV.

Passengers say that experiencing high-quality inflight internet would make them feel more loyal to an airline and be more likely to recommend it.
